This policy explains what data madhavrao.in collects and how it is handled.
What we collect
madhavrao.in is a static website. It does not require an account or use a web form to collect contact details. If you choose an email link, your email client—not this website—handles the message and the recipient sees the information you send. Optional website analytics are described below.
Website analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only after affirmative consent. It collects aggregate page statistics and a small, fixed event set: problem-page views for three pages; Production AI Architecture Review landing views; allowlisted proof opens and request-section opens on that offer page; and exact structured email-link opens. Offer landing views carry only a fixed offer key and a coarse entry surface such as Home, Work, a problem path, a case study, the reference-build archive, the garden, another internal page, or external/direct. Proof and request-section events carry only allowlisted category keys and first-party paths. These events do not send link text, message content, email addresses, mailto contents, full URLs, query strings, full referrer URLs, user IDs, or hashed identifiers. A proof open does not show that the artifact was read, a request-section open is not inquiry intent, and an email-link open records only an attempted handoff to an email client—not a sent or received inquiry.
Declining analytics does not restrict content, links, or email actions. Analytics are used for aggregate content review, not advertising, cross-site tracking, visitor-level outreach, or lead scoring. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-party services
The site links to third-party services (GitHub, LinkedIn, email). Those services process data under their own privacy policies. This policy covers only madhavrao.in itself.
Data retention
Google processes analytics data under its own terms. We use the shortest practical event-data retention period available for this measurement and review that setting quarterly. Aggregate reports are kept only as long as they remain useful. Email correspondence is retained only as needed for the conversation and any legitimate follow-up.
